Telugu Velugu

BATA publishes bilingual quarterly magazine “Telugu Velugu”. The magazine is distributed throughout Bay Area and at Telugu events.

Articles should preferably be less than 1 page and must never exceed a page and half. You can send essays, promes, jokes, cartoons etc. BATA’s Editorial team will review the article and their decision as to whether ot not the article should be published will remain final.

Festivals

BATA celebrates various Telugu festivals annually and encourages participation by the Telugu community in Bay Area. It organizes celebrations for three festivals every year: Sankranti, Ugadi and Deepavali and hosts a picnic in summer.

Telugu Concerts

BATA also organizes Indian classical music concerts and dance ballets from time to time, performed by artists visiting from India.
